Finally some spring weather

The girls spent 5 days last week away from Mommy and Daddy (as they went to Vegas). The girls spent the week with Oma and Opa and apparently did wonderfully (which is great for both the girls and for Oma and Opa!!!).

This weekend we took the girls to Storybook Theatre, which Alyssa seemed to enjoy but Kyla struggled after about 20 minutes into the show. The best Kyla moment was the actor asked what the kids wanted to be when they grew up, and the only one who spoke up immediately was Kyla who responded with a loud “I want to be a Cowgirl!!!”. Alyssa was the roving audience member. She must have moved around the floor seats about 10 times, from one side of the stage to the other, sitting with any group of kids that happened to be there.

So One Day Kyla decided to build a fort in the pantry, and when we opened the door, this is what we saw:

Before it got nice out, the girls were so cute playing with each other and Denise was able to capture a moment of them lying on our bed and playing up to the camera.

When if “sort of” got nice out, the girls decided to check out our back yard pool. They sure aren’t like the pools in Florida…especially Kyla’s pool.

And its obvious it really wasn’t pool weather.

When Alyssa was little, she used to spend a lot of time lining up face cloths on the table completely flat and would work on it for a long time. Haven’t really seen that continue, until this day. Look how perfect the row of rocks are!

And Alyssa being brave by letting Denise throw some “splat” toys towards her as Daddy took her picture. This one was pretty close to her head!
